There is a problem with lobbying within America pollical sphere and while not all lobbying is inherently bad more must be done to make this process transparent and accountable. They hide behind the walls of the capital in DC and Topeka. It’s time to tell them to stop hiding and to be real with the American people.
That’s why SDUSA, KS is supporting a bill that prohibits any economic benefit or hospitality provided by a lobbyist to a legislator or candidates for the legislature. There are 616 registered lobbyist in Kansas with them representing over 2,000 orgs or persons. Wouldn’t you like to know what they talk about with our elected officials?
