Kansas SDUSA endorses Taylor Moreland for Kansas House District 7, based on them being a social Democrat and standing for ideals like accountability and believing in the common welfare for the deserving.
Her policies are strengthening rural communities, supporting small businesses, reforming our foster care system, and improving our justice system so that they truly serve families and youth in need. She is a native of Southeastern Kansas and has been raised on those values her whole life.
This decision was made by the majority of the chapter committee, with 3 members agreeing and 1 abstaining.
