Social democracy isn’t a made up idea that only works on paper instead it’s implemented by the Nordic countries and European ones like Germany. This idea of social democracy works on paper and in practice. The rich can be taxed marginally without threat of them going elsewhere because currently America is the place to do business because of how relax it is with major corporations that should be busted because they are a monopoly.
Social Democracy is also natural for America as it’s the next evolution in a caplisist society within the class systems. This is due because America already had the wealth to fund America first in healthcare and other policy. Instead of funding foreign countries or war.
This has been proven time and time again with how quickly they set up shelters like alligator Alcatraz in a manner of months. Imagine what they could do for affordable housing to hinder that crisis. Another examples are the billions we’ve spent on war and the military industrial complex for defense of other nations. America first means defending only America sovereign territories like Alaska, Hawaii ,and US occupied zones.
Social democracy seeks to mend societys dealings with caplistsism to better off society as whole. We only have to look over seas to see how that system could work, but it starts with the working class getting engaged with the system by voting.
Social democracy will allow for small businesses to grow because they won’t have to compete with major monopolies which would in turn push innovation and entrepreneurship where new items enter the market instead of having 5 brands of bottled water for sale.
