The challenge of mass organizations is getting people to agree on what to mobilize on and getting people to set an agenda, regardless of political affiliation. In this, we must find something that the organization says or does that gets one’s interest.
In organizing SDUSA KS, I found three truths. That people are divided, dying, and are just surviving with the show of politics to the point they get lost in the judgmental soap opera politics, where it is red vs blue. Ideally, we’d remove politics from the conversation. Instead, focus on the same communal good.
This looks different for communities; however, the greater good is caring for each other, so we’re all naturally inclined to do what is good for others. This grows into state initiatives seeking to change things federally. The same game is played by being red, blue, or apathetic. It’s become a shouting match of who can promise the most good to the majority of the people whenever the people need to realize the majority is in control, and that happens by mass mobilization in organizational means.
If you don’t care, then congrats, but decisions will happen for you or not, regardless of how much you care to say. People are tired of working and being the main motive in the system, whilst being a slave to it. The people hold all the power democratically and must mass mobilize to use it. Society wouldn’t work without democracy. The people are the slaves. The monopiles are the rich, and politics are just something. They use capital to influence the system. The people don’t have the same cards as the rich. In our system, there are no slaves, and we call that social democracy.
In conclusion, mass organizations need to move towards communal needs, which is difficult because people are slaves. Slaves to monolithic greed and corruption. Then, doing nothing counts as doing something. Lastly, it all comes together to keep the worker, voter, or the personhood down, while those people have the true power in the system.
